A rich, dark bread baked in a stone oven and made with pure Irish farm buttermilk from Village Dairy, Irish craft stout, and a blend of coarse stoneground flours that include stout spent grain from the brewing process.
Tin-coated with malted rye, this bread delivers a deep stout flavour, natural sponginess, and a dark caramelised colour.
Its slightly sweet, malty notes pair beautifully with butter and smoked sea trout, clotted cream, or smashed avocado and prawns with a hint of lemon. It’s also an excellent accompaniment to seafood and warm soups.
